Our batik workshop opens daily from 9:00 to 17:00. There are 5 full time batik artists working in the workshop, producing batik products for the show room and custom made order from customers and companies.

A varied program of events takes place during the year at the workshop. Such events include batik demonstrations and batik classes.

Visitors of Jadi Batek Centre are free to enjoy batik drawing demonstrations by our artists. You can see how our talented batik artists turn a piece of white cloth into an exquisite piece of batik. The demonstrations include free hand wax drawing to coloring. In house guides will be provided when requested by the visitors.

Our batik classes and workshops provide you with a marvelous opportunity to experiment with batik and produce your own batik masterpiece.

As the total area of the workshop is about 4000 ft², we can accommodate up to 100 people to learn batik together at any particular time. Every year, we welcome few hundreds Japanese students who come to try batik drawing and bring back their works as unique souvenirs or as a memory of their visit to Malaysia .
