Pewter is an alloy consisting of mostly tin and it is the fourth most precious metal. It also has very small amounts of antimony and copper which is added
mainly for strength and/or colour.
The Dragon is the fifth sign of the Chinese zodiac. Those born in the
Year of the Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024) are said
to be courageous, intelligent and benevolent.
The Chinese believe that the dragon, one of the four celestial animals, represents prowess, nobility and fortune. This dignified and high-spirited beast is immortalized in the form of a pewter figurine with wood base and holding a big crystal
to evoke the truest significance of its fabled existence.
